Matvei Mouravieff-Apostol
7" Long x 3 1/2" Wide x 2" Deep 345 grams Silver box wood lined; made by MAPPIN&WEBB. Mappin & Webb is an international jewellery company headquartered in England, tracing its origins to a silver workshop founded in Sheffield in 1775. They opened shops throughout England and established outlets in Paris, Rome, Berlin and elsewhere. This box was purchased for Matvei Mouravieff-Apostol around 1870 with his M A initials inscribed on the top. It was passed on to Vladimir after his death in 1886. Vladimir gave it to his son, Alexis in 1936 who passed it down to his nephew, Nicholas in 1984.
Nadehzda Mouravieff-Apostol-Korobyine (Nee Tereshchenko)
5" Long x 3" Wide x 1 3/4" Deep 295 grams Silver box velour lined with initials NMAK; made by G. KELLER of PARIS. Gustave Keller founded the Paris silversmith firm in 1856, creating simple yet elegant silver sets and accessories that quickly gained acclaim for their quality. His work was recognized internationally, earning gold and silver medals at the 1867 and 1878 Paris World Exhibitions. The firm became an official supplier to several European courts, including Spain, Russia, Greece, and Romania. The Russian Court was especially important — from 1897, the last Tsar, Nicholas II, regularly purchased artifacts from Keller. This box was given to Nadehzda in 1909 as a wedding gift from the Czarina, wife of Nicholas II.

Alexis Mouravieff-Apostol-Korobyine
6" Long x 3 1/2" Wide x 1 3/4" Deep 290 grams Silver box wood lined with map of east asia engraved on cover and engraved dedication plaque inside with names of Red Cross Team dated November 30, 1945. Unknown manufacturer. This box was presented to Alexis, Director of Asian Operations for the International Red Cross by his team of representatives stationed in the far east during World War II from 1941 to 1945. The names of the Swiss Delegates were engraved on the cover showing their individual places of assignment and included Paravicini, Zindel, Egle, Bessmer, Salsmann, Horlimann, Schweizer, Visher, Weigmann and Surbeck. Locations included Indonesia, Burma, Japan, Korea, China and Russia. The names of the Support Team members were A. Brulhart, M. Menge, O. Muller, E. de Weck, C. de Bours, A. Kummerli, A. Lecoultre, A. Marsault, A. Marti, M. Perret, and A. Ulmann
Nadehzda Mouravieff-Apostol-Korobyine (Nee Tereshchenko)
3 3/4" Long x 2 1/2" Wide x 1 3/4" deep 235 grams Silver Guilloché enameled box with hand painted miniature portrait of Nadehzda Fedorovna Tereshchenko by Otto Mylius Oskar Ulbrich. He was a German Kunstmaler, portraitist, porcelain-plate painter, enamel painter, miniature painter, and portrait painter, born 2 Sept. 1876 in Lichte and died 23 Apr. 1943 in Hanau. He was known as a Miniaturmaler und Portraitist—a miniature painter and portraitist. He was the son of Wilhelm Ulbrich and is describe as a Porzellanplattenmaler, Kunstmaler und Portraitist. Sources list Otto Ulbrich among notable Thüringen porcelain-plate painters. Vladimir Vladimirovitch Mouravieff-Apostol-Korobyine commissioned the piece as an engagement present to his betrothed in 1909.
Guilloché enamel oval photograph frame. 3" wide x 4" high 45 grams Sterling silver. Fabergé style. Circa 1905–1915. Probably English or possibly Continental manufacture. Fine translucent robin's-egg-blue enamel over engine-turned ground. Original velvet easel back and ball feet. Contains photograph of Nadehzda Fedorovna Tereshchenko taken in 1915 by famed British portrait photographer Keturah Collings. This framed photograph remained on Vladimir Mouravieff-Apostol-Korobyine's nightstand from 1916 until his death in 1937.

10" Long 45 grams Ivory letter opener with MA initials passed to Vladimir Vladimirovitch Mouravieff-Apostol-Korobyine after Matvei's death in 1886. According to Nadehzda Mouravieff-Apostol this item originally belonged to Ivan Matveivitch Mouravieff-Apostol.
