In Cherkasy oblast on paper there are still 23 sugar plants. From the life of the villages and towns they expunge the factory turned out to be much harder than the economy of the region. Of course, the sugar industry in Cherkasy, almost no different from what is observed in other regions. As it is very often happened here happened by simple fragmentation of anything and everything. But it's not the worst. Now it's time to finally recognize that enterprises into private hands employees were misled: the problem of their employment did not particularly excited either then or now.

Today the policy of sugar production in Cherkasy are such big owners like Ukrros, Ukrainian food company, etc. Among the experts there is a perception that as long as they do not coordinate their actions in relations with farmers. Even predict that the area is on the verge of a new wave of unification processes that result in the number of owners of enterprises from sugar industry is likely to decrease. In an interview with "MN" head of oblast State administration Volodymyr Lukyanets stated that competition in the sugar production in Cherkasy was almost passed. But even in this case, it cannot be said that the sugar industry has no other even more rosy prospects.
