TV Show "Battle of the Psychics"

One of the most popular TV series in Europe, it delivered its first episode on February 25, 2007 in Moscow, Russia. It was a paranormal reality television series broadcast on TNT and was based on the British format Britain's Psychic Challenge.

The 11th season Final Episode number 8 was filmed at Homutetz in October 2012 and was broadcast on 25 November 2012. The host for the show was Nicholas Mouravieff-Apostol-Korobyine. The episodes ran from march 8th with the final episode aired on December 28th and were produced by Dmitry Volkhov. It was the Ukrainian STB series "Battle of the Psychics: Apocalypse" The objective was for the finalists from each of the previous 2012 challenge episodes to gather at Homutetz and seek to make contact with several spirits alleged to inhabit the grand palace of Danylo Apostol. Some of the better known spirits included an army officer alleged to have been murdered in the entrance hallway in the 1700s and the daughter of Colonel Harting who died at the age of 4 and was buried on a small island on the pond next to the house. It was viewed across Europe by more than 35 million and delivered in two parts. Most of the psychics sensed the ghosts of Sergei and Hypolite Mouravieff-Apostol and a few referred to some of the partisans allegedly executed nearby after the Revolution by the Bolsheviks and later in WWII by the Nazis. The psychics came from Russia, the USA, the UK, Australia, Ukraine, Japan and Azerbaijan among other countries.
